When you have a book to be repaired and check them out to repair then put them on the shelf marked "REPAIR" not in front of Carol W's computer.

Good morning everyone.
Yesterday we added a new feature to our Website called Tumblebooks. It is a Read along collection of books for kids from pre-school to teens. We think it is something everyone will like. Any patron with internet access can take advantage of this service. Simply go onto the library website and click on TumbleReadables , located prominently in the top center of the page. Readers may choose from a collection of New Books, Early Readers, YA/Teen to Shakespeare. As they say "a picture is worth a thousand words". Check it out for yourself and see how easy it is to use.
We will create a bookmark for our patrons to let them know about this great new service.
Thanks,
Kitty

FRIENDS QUILT RAFFLE
The Friends are raffling off a quilt which is hanging at the circ desk.
The tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. The tickets are in a white envelope labeled "quilt tickets" and the envelope is under the circ desk between the two computers facing the hallway. Please have any patron (they do not have to be a friends member) fill out the ticket with their name and phone number and drop the ticket in the bucket marked "friends quilt". Put the money in a manila envelope marked "QUILT" which is next to the register. DO NOT PUT THE MONEY OR ANYTHING DEALING WITH THIS IN THE REGISTER! If someone would like to use a check, make it out to the Friends of the Homer Library and put it in the envelope.
The drawing will be held at the November Friends meeting on the 13th. Person does not have to be present.
If you have any questions, please ask me.

Reporting WorkFlows Problems
I posted a form by the circ calendar on the "tack strip" for noting problems that may come up in WorkFlows.
If you get a message, make a note of what you were doing. ie: looking up a patron got message "Record in use"
Barcodes of the patron or item would be helpful.
Thanks
